API 580 Risk Base Inspection Professional

API 580은 기존에 있는 경험과 자료를 가지고 얼마나 Risk가 있는 곳에 Possibility를 따라 적당한 자원을 투입하여 사고를 미연해 방지하는가에 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 그래서 정확하게 어떤 계산이나 그런것을 하기보다는 개념수준의 질문을 묻는 형태가 많다. 나 같은 경우는 API시험의 마지막을 580으로 끝내서 조금더 수월했던 것으로 기억한다. (580경우는 규격집이 얇기도 했거니와) 다른 시험보다 조금은 수월하게 준비를 했던것으로 기억이 난다. 

Mock up test이건 문제집이건 자료 자체를 구하기가 힘들고 대부분 계산문제가 아닌 개념적인 문제가 많아 풀어놓고서도 합격일까하는 의구심이 일었다. 도움이 크게 되지는 않겠지만 20문항 정도로 구성된 Mock up exam을 첨부하니 참조로 풀어보면 어떤 시험일지 어느정도 감은 올 것으로 보인다.

추가적으로 공부할때 구한 내용도 좀더 첨부해본다. 해당 RBI의 경우 개인적인 견해로 확률을 이해하고 업무에 일부 적용하지 않고서는 의미가 없을 것으로 보인다. 요즘 Trend자체가 사고를 분석하고 그 사고에 대한 확률을 여러가지 방법으로 낮추는 기법이 많이 사용되기 때문에 확률에 대한 정확한 이해가 선행되야 자격증을 따고서도 활용이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

국내 확률 관련 문제를 구해서 Study 해보거나 PCS(Process Control system)에 대해서 고민해보는 것도 도움이 된다. 개인적으로는 CQE때 배운 내용이 많은 도움이 되었다.
