파이네트워크(Pi coin Node) 업데이트

파이 node 진행사항에 대한 Update가 발표되었다. 3월 31일 발표된 Node의 진행사항이다. 5월 중에는 뭔가 가시적인 성과가 있지 않을까 싶다. 개발 단계를 투명하게 공개하면서 진척하는 프로젝트들은 사기의 가능성이 거의 없다는 점에서 매우 고무적이다. 열심히 채굴만 하시면 되겠다.(또한, 하루에 한번 클릭하는게 개인적으로 큰 노력이 든다고 생각하지 않는다) 공개된 내용은 아래와 같다. 

Pi Node Update For Q2 2020, Pi aims to complete the Selection Stage of Pi Testnet, as outlined in the “Testnet Roadmap” section of the Node documentation (minepi.com/node-info) released on March 31, 2020. The Selection Stage includes: Enabling and organizing all node applicants to smoothly install technical preparation packages needed to run the Node software.  Performing test runs of the consensus algorithm to calibrate node hardware and software requirements. Selecting the initial candidates that will become Nodes and SuperNodes on Testnet. Since the launch of Pi’s first version of Nodes on March 31st, over 100,000 Pioneers have applied to be Nodes / SuperNodes on Pi’s Testnet. All node applicants will be given access to the installation flow for the necessary technical packages in the node software by May 1st, 2020. We are currently working on finalizing the necessary packages, and integrating the installation process for those packages into an intuitive and informative interface of the node software that aims to smooth the installation process for Pioneers and accurately inform them of the installation status on their devices. The Core Team will then test run the consensus algorithm on the devices of Pioneers that successfully installed the node technical preparation packages, and calibrate the requirements of the device hardware and software necessary for achieving a reliable and secure network. We expect to announce more detailed node hardware and software criteria and begin informing applicants of their selection status on a rolling basis by June 1st, 2020. The selected applicants will be invited to complete KYC in order to become a Node or SuperNode candidate in Pi’s Testnet. However, the opening of KYC slots may precede the announcement of the selections for Node because KYC slots selection is an independent process that also enables participation in other parts of the Pi ecosystem (e.g. Apps platform and functionalities in initial apps), the details of which will be included in future posts on Pi’s Apps Platform.

중요한 내용만 한글로 추려보면 다음과 같다. 중요하지 않는 내용은 번역기를 돌리는게 아니라 생략하겠다. Selection Stage를 다음을 포함한다.  1. 모든 node 지원자들의 node Software의 동작을 위한 technical package의 원만한 설치를 지원한다. 2. Node software 및 hardware의 교정을 위한(아마 Load 관련 calibration이 아닐까 싶다) Consensus algorithm의 테스트런을 포함한다.  3. Initial 노드 및 슈퍼노드의 지원자를 선택한다.    지금까지 10만명 정도가 지원하고 프로그램을 설치한것으로 보이고(생각보다 작은데) 모든 지원자가 5월 31일 기준으로 Technical package 설치를 위한 Access가 제공될 것으로 보인다. 아마 지원 창에서 Next를 누르면 추가 package 설치가 될 것으로 보인다. 현재 설치를 위한 작업을 Core team에서 하고 있다. 설치를 위한 manual 등 여러가지 Informative가 될것같다. 설치가 끝나면 말이긴데 "The Core Team will then test run the consensus algorithm on the devices of Pioneers that successfully installed the node technical preparation packages, and calibrate the requirements of the device hardware and software necessary for achieving a reliable and secure network" 결국에는 부하 test를 하겠다는 의미이다. 이 과정중에 24/7을 선택할 것인지 자기가 사용하는 시간만 켜 놓을 것인지 개인적으로 선택하면 될 것으로 보이고 켜 놓은 시간에 따라서(기여한) 보상이 주어질 것으로 보인다.  정확하지는 않지만 6월 1일(예상) core team이 생각하는 Node hardware/software criteria가 발표되서 우리는 어느정도의 사양을 원한다라고 이야기가 나올것으로 보인다. 여기서 선택이 되면 KYC가 가능할 것으로 보인다.  결국에 이번에 선택이 되고 KYC가 가능하면 Pi network의 성장을 같이 가져갈 수 있는 확률이 높아지게 될 것으로 보인다. 아래에 보이듯이 App Platform이나 Initial app의 펑셔널리티등에도 참여가 가능하다.  결국에 쓰다보니, 번역은 아니고 읽고 생각나는데로 쓰게 된거 같지만 중요한 내용은 다 들어간거 같다.

늦었다고 생각했을때가 가장 빠르다는 말이 있다. 기존에 시작했던 사람은 선점해서 꽤나 많이 받으신 분들은 만단위가 넘는 것으로 알고 있다. 선물 가격이(IOU) 400-500원에 육박하는 만큼 많은 사람들이 관심이 있고 또, 한국에서의 수요 및 관심도 증가하는 것으로 알고 있다. 물론 전통 가상화폐에 집중하시는 분들은 아직 모를수도 있지만, 단 파이코인의 강점은 자본이 들지 않고, 현재로써는 어떠한 resource의 Drain도 없고 핸드폰으로 채굴이 상당한 양이 가능하다는 점이다. 오늘이라도 가입해서 마이닝하면 된다. 그럼 오늘도 해피 마이닝 하시길 바란다
